Streamline Your Team's Efficiency:
The Power of a Project Management Board

As the CEO or COO it is your responsibility to create efficiency in your team(s)! My FAVORITE way is a simple project management board.

My non-negotiables for a project management board; project, tasks, who is the main point of contact (aka responsible), due date, and the hardest part for most teams is the notes documenting the process happening! We use ClickUp like our life depends on it!

What is a Project Management Board & How Can I Get My Team To Use It (the #1 issue we hear is that “the team isn’t onboard with changing)

A project management board (PMB) tracks the progress of projects to ensure that they are completed on time and within budget. A PMB can help to provide visibility into the status of projects for leadership to overview at a quick glance, identify any potential issues that may arise before it is a fire, and allow for more effective communication between team members (direct communication is the best!)

Join us live each week to answer questions around that weeks topic! If there is anything I hate it is not having the space to ask my specific question. Although, we ask that questions stay on topic (for those that like to skip ahead) – our goal is to make sure you leave each week with clarity on the lesson & what you need to do to progress through building your business.

PMBs are to help with increasing the bottom line of your business!

Going from chaos to organized, the hardest part is normally you AND the team getting on the same page on transitioning from what you know (chaos) to structure. Here are a few tips for getting your team to use your project management board:

Make it easy to use: Your project management board should be user-friendly and intuitive to use. If it is too complex or difficult to use, your team members will be less likely to use it.

Provide training: Make sure that your team members know how to use the project management board and understand its importance. Consider providing training sessions or creating instructional materials to help your team members get up to speed.

Make it a mandatory part of the process: Make using the project management board a requirement for all team members. This will help to ensure that everyone is using it consistently and effectively. THIS INCLUDES YOU TOO!!!!
Communicate its benefits: Make sure that your team understands the benefits of using the project management board. This could include things like improved communication, better visibility into the status of projects, and increased efficiency.

Set clear expectations: Establish clear guidelines for how the project management board should be used and ensure that everyone understands their responsibilities.

If you are jumping on the excitement of a project management board, understand the hardest part is finding your flow on the days where you are beyond busy and stressed, but this will drastically increase your ROI on time, communication with your team and efficiency across the board once you and your team have found your flow!!
